Program description - September 2025

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¾«Æ· Bachelor of Science - Nursing (Honours) degree prepares graduates to provide care that is relevant, connected, and responsive to the evolving needs of the people for whom they provide care. The program takes a contemporary approach to nursing education delivery, with courses and learning experience designed to address the most pressing issues in healthcare today. While we value and emphasize the scientific basis of nursing practice, in health, the importance of relationships cannot be understated - relational practice is a hallmark of nursing at Conestoga. Extensive hands-on clinical learning opportunities will provide students with strong foundations in nursing practice, across a variety of settings and client ages.

With multiple pathways for degree completion, we invite applicants who are coming from high school, who have completed previous nursing studies or diplomas, or have undertaken previous university work to enter the program directly. The program is designed so that applicants who are Registered Practical Nurses can enter the program directly with advanced standing, without the need for bridging semesters.

ÌÇÐÄvlog¾«Æ· is a member of the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing.

The new ÌÇÐÄvlog¾«Æ· Baccalaureate Nursing Program (Bachelor of Science - Nursing Honours) has preliminary approval by the College of Nurses of Ontario (). Graduates from this program are eligible to apply for registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario.

In preparation to pursuing a nursing career, we encourage all prospective nursing students to carefully consider the for more information.
