Program description - September 2025

The insurance industry plays a crucial role in people's lives by providing financial protection and peace of mind. Whether it's covering medical expenses, property damage, or other unforeseen events, insurance helps mitigate the economic impact of risks.

Conestoga's two-year Business - Insurance diploma program ensures you will gain a holistic understanding of insurance practices. You will delve into claims, investigation, underwriting, marketing, broker/agent sales, and management.

You will also be able to participate in the optional paid co-op experience, gaining real-world exposure and increasing your employability. While taking our program, you can earn up to seven of the required ten credits toward the CIP designation, enhancing your credentials.

Pursuing an insurance career allows you to impact your community positively. Whether it's helping individuals recover from accidents, or advising businesses, insurance professionals play a vital role.
