Program description

Conestoga's Community and Justice Services program is a two-year integrated diploma program to help you develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and professional values required to work effectively with individuals involved with the criminal justice system.

Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on placement experience, you will learn about the historical and modern-day role of both the provincial and federal correctional systems in Canada.

This program focuses on the importance of applying a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens in your work with the offender population. It has been designed to prepare you for many front-line service careers in both community and institutional settings.
